The Hyper DRYSTAR® Jacket, a sport touring jacket, offers excellent protection against the weather and ample comfort, thanks to its waterproof and breathable DRYSTAR® membrane and removable thermal liner. This jacket boasts class-leading protective capabilities and the ability to be upgraded with Alpinestars' Nucleon CE certified chest and back protection.

The jacket features a clean, sport touring-inspired fit with a multi-panel, multi-material construction, incorporating a 450 denier poly-fabric main shell and 600 denier dobby reinforcement for optimal durability and abrasion resistance. The fixed DRYSTAR® membrane with taped seams guarantees waterproof performance while remaining breathable enough to prevent the buildup of interior moisture, ensuring a stable microclimate. Stretch inserts in the membrane mirror the stretch zones of the outer garment, providing superior freedom of movement.

For cold conditions, the jacket includes a removable long sleeve thermal liner (100g on body, 80g on sleeves), with easy-to-identify red zippers and snap-button closures to securely keep the liner in position. The innovative volume control adjustment system on the chest, biceps, and sleeves ensures a tight, improved riding fit with minimal material bunching, allowing for personalized adjustments that enhance safety by keeping the protective elements close to the body in the event of an impact or slide.

The pre-curved sleeves and hook-and-loop grip closure cuff adjustment ensure a comfortable fit and prevent sleeve riding up the arm while riding. The newly developed shoulder protection features an over-molded advanced TPU guard layered under the outer fabric for optimized protection and comfort, while the Alpinestars race-derived, CE-approved internal elbow and shoulder protectors provide additional safety.

The jacket also features chest and back pad compartments (CE certified Nucleon and back chest pads available as accessory upgrades) and strategically positioned four-way stretch inserts on the inside arms, side torso, and rear shoulder for freedom of movement and a comfortable fit. The multiple ventilation system, with zippered vents and exhaust ports, ensures effective internal cooling and comfort on short or long rides.

For improved rider visibility, the jacket features extensive reflective detailing on the arms and back. Additionally, a full circumference waist connection zipper on the inside allows for attachment to Alpinestars riding pants, providing a seamless integration between the jacket and pants.
